The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a season in which they went 14-3 with a backup quarterback in Sam Darnold, and a dominant defense led by their pass rush. In 2025, they return that dominant defense with their franchise quarterback under center after rehabbing from a knee injury in J.J. McCarthy.

Minnesota Vikings training camp is finally here, which means we are one step close to the start of the J.J. McCarthy era. On Sunday, the rookies and quarterbacks reported and the rest of the team will report on Tuesday.

Vikings fans will get their own looks at projected starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy, rebuilt offensive and defensive lines and their favorite returning stars on Saturday for the first of 12 open practices this summer at training camp at TCO Performance Center in Eagan.
