LGBTQ+ people and supporters from around the world marched through the streets of Washington on Saturday in a joyful celebration meant to show defiance of President Donald Trump's rollback of queer rights.

Saturday's Capital Pride parade marked the 50th anniversary of the event as thousands gathered in Washington, during an extended WorldPride LGBTQ celebration. The six-hour parade is part of a weekend that also included the WorldPride Music Fest and other events.

Washington, D.C.'s 2025 annual Pride parade included "furries," drag queens, children, and support from companies and religious organizations.
