Intel to Lay Off Over 500 Employees in Oregon, Impacting Hillsboro and Aloha Sites
Intel is laying off over 500 employees in Oregon, which will impact Washington County's job market. The cuts affect various positions but no union workers. The layoffs start July 15 and stem from a broader industry adjustment.

PGE confirmed the cuts will impact 330 positions, including 53 full-time employees, 123 contract workers and the elimination of 154 unfilled job openings.
