Manchester City will play second-tier Plymouth in the fifth round of the FA Cup. Plymouth is last in division two but produced a stunning upset on Sunday to eliminate Premier League leader Liverpool.

Plymouth's reward for beating Liverpool in the FA Cup is a fifth round tie away to Manchester City. The Pilgrims dumped the current Premier League leaders out of the competition with a 1-0 win on Sunday thanks to Ryan Hardie's second-half penalty,

Since Wigan shocked Manchester City in the final in 2013, only six different teams have won the competiton – Manchester United (twice), Man City (twice), Arsenal (four times), Liverpool, Chelsea and of course Leicester (all once). After the fifth round, the competition moves to the quarter-finals, which is the last round before Wembley.
