Filming has begun for the Madden movie and Amazon just released the first images of Christian Bale and Nicolas Cage as Al Davis and John Madden

Deadline shared an exclusive first look at Cage as Madden on Wednesday, complete with 1970s-era Raiders apparel and a glistening Super Bowl ring. Christian Bale also appears in the promotional still as former Raiders owner Al Davis, his own hair and sunglasses resembling the late executive's style.

Madden will be directed by David O. Russell, who’s received Academy Award nominations for Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle which means we can likely expect a mix of drama and dark comedy. (Actor Will Ferrell was previously considered to portray John Madden in Russell’s biopic.)
