PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin made the call to switch the team’s training camp practices from the morning in 2024 back to their usual spot in the afternoon at 1:55 p.m. That means during the day’s heat, the Steelers will be out on the exposed practice fields at Saint Vincent College.
Mike Tomlin has broken his silence on the contract situation surrounding star linebacker T.J. Watt. With rumors swirling and fans growing anxious, Tomlin's statement offers clarity, and a strong hint at the Steelers' commitment to keeping Watt in Pittsburgh.
Throughout his career, Watt has played in 121 games. All of those games have come with the Steelers and he has totaled 462 tackles, 108 sacks, 33 forced fumbles, 12 fumble recoveries, seven interceptions, and 50 defended passes.
Aaron Rodgers will join forces with Mike Tomlin and the Steelers for the 2025 season and the duo made interesting history by partnering up.
The Pittsburgh Steelers did not have T.J. Watt at their mandatory minicamp this week. Head coach Mike Tomlin did not seem overly concerned about his future with the team, stating they are in constant communication with one another.
