Authorities confirmed there were three fatalities after a medical helicopter crashed near the Natchez Trace in Madison County.

Officials have reported that first responders were called to a helicopter crash near the Natchez Trace Monday afternoon, shortly before 1 p.m. The crash is reportedly near the Natchez Trace, north of Highway 43.
