The Cincinnati Bengals found a way to sign both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to lucrative multi-year extensions this offseason, but the franchise is still dealing with multiple contract hold-ins or holdouts.

The Cincinnati Bengals very obviously liked more than pass-rushing upside when it comes to first-round pick Shemar Stewart. As we wrote on draft night and since, Stewart's ability to set the edge as a run defense is something that likely appealed to the Bengals in a big way after losing veteran Sam Hubbard to retirement.

Shemar Stewart remains unsigned by the Cincinnati Bengals a month after the club drafted him with the 17th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Stewart is refraining from practicing with the team until his camp and the Bengals agree to terms on his rookie contract.
