Law enforcement has tracked someone they believe to be Travis Decker - accused of killing his own children - in the Blewett Pass area of Washington state Tuesday evening, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Authorities say they believe they spotted Travis Decker, an ex-soldier wanted in the deaths of his three daughters, in the remote backcountry of Washington state.

As the manhunt for Travis Decker, who has been charged with kidnapping and killing his daughters Paityn, Evelyn and Olivia, police say they are “closing in” on the fugitive.

Police tracked a subject believed to be Travis Decker, 39, after a weeklong manhunt. Decker is accused of killing his three daughters — Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8 and Olivia, 5 — whose bodies were found at a Washington campsite on June 2.
