In Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Warriors, just about everything was lined up for a Timberwolves loss. Jimmy Butler of Golden State had a big game, with 33 points, and Jonathan Kuminga had the surprise outing he needed, scoring 30.

The Warriors fell behind early in Game 3 on their home floor against the Timberwolves, looking like a team still disheveled in the wake of losing star guard Stephen Curry to a hamstring injury he suffered in Game 1, an injury that is likely to keep him out until, at least, Game 6 of the conference semifinals.
