FBI director Kash Patel was adamant that “the conspiracy theories just aren’t true” amid a brewing MAGA firestorm over notorious sex predator Jeffrey Epstein.

One of the most talked-about involves Trump-picked FBI Director Kash Patel and his girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins. Wilkins, a 26-year-old country singer and right-wing commentator, became the center of online guesswork after a popular post on X (once called Twitter) on July 10. The post hinted she might play a role in a secret intelligence job.

Trump denied that he had ever written such a letter or, indeed, drawn anything ever. “I never wrote a picture in my life,” he said, adding later on Truth Social, “I don’t draw pictures,” and that he was going to sue Journal owner Rupert Murdoch’s “ass off.”

FBI Director Kash Patel is reportedly weighing his resignation in a show of solidarity with Deputy Director Dan Bongino, following a heated fallout between Bongino and Attorney General Pam Bondi, according to a New York Post report.

Despite the uproar from the right, however, President Donald Trump is standing by his top FBI officials. In a Truth Social post, Trump didn’t directly address the Epstein controversy but offered a broad show of support for both Patel and Bongino.

The FBI and DOJ said they do not plan to make future public disclosures related to their review of Epstein's case, stoking outrage among Trump's most vocal supporters.
