The Getty Villa, Griffith Observatory, Los Angeles Zoo and more are shutting their doors while wildfires swarm Southern California.

The Getty Center, Hollywood Sign, Griffith Observatory, Universal Studios Hollywood, the Skirball Cultural Center, Warner Bros. Studio Tours and the Los Angeles Zoo were among the closed attractions on Wednesday.

Major airlines issued flight alerts and people in Los Angeles scrambled to evacuate as an out-of-control wildfire raged in the southern California city on Wednesday.
