Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported that the St. Louis Blues could be looking at moving their captain, Brayden Schenn and thinks that the Vegas Golden Knights could be a possible destination.

As of February 12th, the St. Louis Blues sit eight points out of the second Western Conference wild-card spot. They could still go on a run and make the postseason– stranger things have happened– but it doesn’t seem likely.

The St. Louis Blues are falling out of contention in the Western Conference, and it could lead to captain Brayden Schenn being traded.

St. Louis Blues captain Brayden Schenn has been creating plenty of chatter in the rumor mill as of late. On Feb. 6's episode of TSN Insider Trading, NHL insider Darren Dreger reported that the Blues are testing Schenn's trade market, and the talk surrounding the veteran forward has only increased.
