A young Breanna Stewart fan was left delighted after the Liberty star took the time out before the Fever game to greet her.

The seven-time WNBA All-Star wins everywhere she goes, and is leading the New York Liberty in a back-to-back championship pursuit.

The Seattle Storm recently made headlines after announcing they will be unveiling a statue for franchise legend Sue Bird in August, a first for a WNBA team. When asked who Ionescu believes next deserves a statue in women's basketball, the Liberty guard looked no further than her teammate: Breanna Stewart.

Breanna Stewart and Leonis Fiebech combined for 39 points as they led the Liberty to a 19-point comeback win over the Dream.

The New York Liberty beat the Caitlin Clark-less Indiana Fever 98-77 on Thursday to head into the All-Star break with the second-best record in the league. Breanna Stewart was excellent in the game, scoring 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting to go along with 11 rebounds, seven assists and four blocked shots.
