HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced on Monday he is removing all 17 members of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s vaccine advisory committee.
The Health and Human Services secretary said he is "retiring" all 17 members of the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices, which helps set recommendations for vaccines.
The American Pharmacists Association will withhold endorsing the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's latest immunization schedule, which removed the recommendation for pregnant women to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
