The Magic entered 6-3 against Boston in their last nine games before this series, largely aided by defense. The Celtics, more of a finesse team by comparison, aren’t happy about it. The Celtics are calling out the Magic for what they describe as overly physical and dirty play during their playoff series.

Beyond the fouls that were called, Brown also believed the Magic “got away with a lot” in Friday’s game. A contest at the rim left Luke Kornet with a bloody nose, and Derrick White went crashing into the Celtics’ bench during a late-game clash with Wendell Carter Jr.
