A Florida man is in custody after a crime spree in Chicago in which he stole thousands of dollars in merchandise and resold the items in West Englewood, authorities said.
CHICAGO – A Florida man has been arrested for a series of retail thefts in Chicago. In December 2024, investigators said they received a tip alleging 27-year-old Brandon Kelly of Jacksonville, Florida, was selling stolen merchandise in the 6300 block of South Ashland Avenue in Chicago’s West Englewood neighborhood.
