The son of a woman killed in the Air India plane crash has told the BBC "other remains" were found in her casket after her body was returned to the UK. Miten Patel, whose father also died in the crash, said the coroner identified the mixed-up remains and left him to worry: "How many others are in there?"

Air India said that so far AI released the interim compensation to the families of 147 of the 229 deceased passengers and also the 19 who lost their lives at the accident site.

In one case, a coroner in London discovered that the DNA of several bodies had been co-mingled in one of the caskets, Healy-Pratt told UK news agency PA Media.
