Lows are expected to fall below freezing in the northern part of the state, and even south Alabama could even fall into the 30s. Temperatures are expected to begin to warm up on Friday and will continue to moderate over the weekend.

At least three people were killed in Alabama after severe storms moved across the state, according to the Associated Press.

The National Weather Service has survey teams out across Alabama on Sunday surveying damage after many tornadoes are reported to have touched down around the state.
