The International Court of Justice said it lacked jurisdiction after Sudan accused the United Arab Emirates of fueling genocide in the African country’s civil war.

The International Court of Justice said on Monday it had dismissed Sudan's genocide case against the United Arab Emirates over the UAE's alleged interference in Darfur, saying it lacked authority to rule on the matter.

Sudan alleged the UAE supported the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the Sudanese civil war, in which tens of thousands of people have died, forced millions from their homes and left many facing famine.
