A brilliant young mathematician becomes an enemy of the deep state in a paranoid new potboiler streaming on Apple TV+.

The new series, which released its first two episodes on the streaming service today, stars Woodall as mathematics genius Edward Brooks, who is on the verge of finding a pattern in prime numbers that will allow him to access every computer in the world.

There’s a lot of great “math is crazy, man” action just in the show’s trailer. Leo Woodall plays a postgrad named Edward Brooks who’s supposedly “the world’s greatest mind,” despite the fact that he seems like the typical arrogant know-it-all that haunts every college classroom. (He thinks Newton was “full of it,” for example.)
