MINNEAPOLIS — Monday’s series opener between the Guardians and Twins entered a rain delay at 8:13 p.m. EST with two out in the bottom of the second inning and Minnesota holding a 2-1 lead. Update: The tarp is off the field. No official re-start time has been given.

The Cleveland Guardians-Minnesota game was suspended in the fourth inning Monday night after a second rain delay with the Twins leading 2-1. The game will resume Tuesday night with the regularly scheduled game to follow 30 minutes after its completion.

The game between the Cleveland Guardians and the Minnesota Twins was suspended at the top of the fourth inning because of inclement weather Monday night in Minneapolis.
