Brock Purdy became the latest San Francisco 49ers star to join the fatherhood club. Purdy's wife Jenna gave birth to the couple's first child, Millie Joleen Purdy. Purdy left the team late last week for his daughter's birth before returning to practice on Sunday.

Two weeks ago, 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey also became a first-time dad as he and wife, Olivia Culpo, announced the arrival of their daughter, Colette.

The pressure is mounting on Brock Purdy as another weapon's availability is in jeopardy for the start of the season.

In addition to the two wide receivers, four other players were also included on the PUP list: Andre Dillard, Yetur Gross-Matos, Malik Mustapha, and Curtis Robinson. Meanwhile, Ben Bartch and George Odum have been placed on the Active/Non-Football Injury list.

Jenna Brandt is from Sumner, Iowa, grew up with three siblings and was born the same year as Brock: 1999. She is also an athlete, as she was a star high school volleyball player and played the sport in college for two different programs.

Brock Purdy has come a long way since being the Mr. Irrelevant in the 2022 NFL draft. He was a backup during his rookie season with the San Francisco 49ers.
