Jurors in Karen Read’s second murder trial began their first full day of deliberations Monday in the case over whether the Massachusetts woman killed her Boston police officer boyfriend.

“The circumstances of his death are still under investigation,” the spokesman said, “and do not appear to be definitively known.”
