Shane Bieber has made only four big-league starts in the last 24 months, but the Toronto Blue Jays are banking that the unanimous 2020 American League Cy Young Award winner will soon add a jolt to their rotation. The Cleveland Guardians are trading Bieber to the Jays, a source confirmed to The Athletic on Thursday. The return is not yet known.
