CHICAGO – Members of the Little Village community are speaking out after a deadly police-involved shooting last week. The victim, identified as Timothy Glaze, reportedly was living at the Albany Terrace Apartments – a senior living community – and was battling three types of cancer.

A 41-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the head Sunday evening in an alley in Little Village, authorities said.

The man, 41, was in an alley near the 4100 block of West 27th Street at 5:35 p.m. Sunday when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots, police said. The man was hospitalized in critical condition.

The Chicago Police Department said the officers fired their weapons, hitting the man, identified as Timothy Glaze, 58, several times.
