Plano-raised actor Michael Urie called himself “the luckiest actor alive” after receiving an Emmy nomination for his role in the Apple TV+ series 'Shrinking.'

Shrinking garnered a nomination in the top category, Outstanding Comedy Series, where it's up against Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Nobody Wants This, Only Murders in the Building, The Studio and What We Do in the Shadows.
