Major Rick Blangiardi signed into law the removal of 108 derelict payphones from Oahu parks to declutter and modernize the city on June 12.

Simpkins Family Swim Center, operated by the Santa Cruz County Parks Department, is located on 17th Avenue and is open seven days a week during the summer, with lap swimming beginning at 6 a.m.
